Food Drive

Lifework Church is partnering with Kristy Byrnes, Heather Stoppelbein and any one else willing to help to collect non-perishable items for people in need. Did you know that 1 in 5 American children go to bed at night hungry? Some children do not eat over the weekend once school is over. For the holidays Kristy and her family are planning a food drive. We will be donating all donations to the food bank and the San Xavier mission. Heather is putting together some care bags with water, toiletries, and food. The bags will he distributed to people on the street. She is in need of toothbrushes. This can make a huge impact in someone’s life who is less fortunate than us. I hope that my children will learn the true meaning of the holidays and be able to feel the joy of helping others.

If you have any non perishable food items, coats, or toiletries around that you can donate, please do so. Please take the time to dig out anything you may not eat that can benefit someone else.

The food drive ends November 17. Collection will be at the Star Valley park on Monday the 10th and also the 17th, from 3:30 to 6:00.

You can bring your donations with you on Sunday anytime between now and the drop off date, we will get them to Kristi.
